Another Card by Sketch Video

Hi Everyone! It's me again..

Today I want to share with you a new video that I made yesterday (it's getting easier and easier to make them).
Like last time I used a sketch and a color inspiration, here are the links (if you want to look it up):
- I used the first sketch (from the 2 sketches 4 you blog) in Laura's Sketch 20:

I made a list of sketches and color inspirations that I wanted to use and these two were at the top of the list.

Anyways, Let's get down to business. Here's today's video:

I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a great day!

Would you like to take a survey?

I'm the only one that laughed? come on.. It's from the Animaniacs show.. don't you remember?
OK. So it's just me.

I posted a new survey in my sidebar. It's about the amount of money you spend on scrapbooking. I'm just trying to find out if the amount I'm spending is out of control or not. I think it's not, but my husband thinks it's over the top.
Just so you know, I spend about 60$ each month. That's my budget.

So, what's yours? Choose one of the options in the sidebar and let me know.

* By the way, the survey is totally anonymous (in case you were wondering) *

Random Card Wednesday #16

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I'm so glad you joined me today since today I'm gonna show you a cute & special card project that I made recently.
I came across this link and I just had to make one like that. Now, since I have a links' blog I added the link to the blog and I guess I just forgot all about it.

I don't know if you remember or not, but I told you some time ago that I'm going through my entire links' blog and creating every thing on there. If there something that I can't create due to missing supplies I just list those supplies in my wishlist.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I made this Pocket card holder:

This card holder can actually hold three card (3" by 3" cards). It only depends on the volume of the card (i.e. if you use dimentionals etc.).

I added two 3" by 3" cards that have the same theme (the green cardstock as background, the scalloped piece at the bottom and the embellishment at the top right corner).

OK, That's all for today, I hope you liked it.
Have a great day!

Cards According To Sketch

Hi everyone!

Today I have another video tutorial for you. But, it's a bit different this time.
This time I didn't get a tutorial from the SCS site like I did before.
This time I used I sketch from the CPS blog (I used the CPS #107):

In addition, I used Kristina's Color Inspirations.

First I made this card:

For this card I used the Color Inspiration #8.

Then, I decided to make a video on how I did another variation of the same sketch. For the card that I make in the video I used the Color Inspiration #13.

I hope you enjoyed the video!

Here are a few pictures of the new card I created:

Random Card Wednesday #15

Hi everyone!

Today I'll show you four cards!
All those cards were created on a very cold Saturday at Ronit's house.

After completing this semester's exams, Ronit demanded that we get together and create some things.
So, she created (or started to create.. lol) a gift for her husband to celebrate their 5 years of being together. I created four cards.

This is the first one:
In this card I did a mistake with the stamp that I used. Apparently, the stamp wasn't mounted right on the wooden block so when I stamped with it, the stamp was crooked.
So I took a piece of white ribbon and hide the stamp under it... hehe.. I know. I know. It's cheating. But hey, It's a "just for my own fun" card. So I think it's OK.

Here's the second card:

In this card I used one of Ronit's stamps of a cupcake (which I usually don't like to use).
I used the black stazon ink and painted the cupcake with some rubber stamp markers.

Here's the third card:
In this card, I used Ronit's Cricut machine for the "Thinking of You" sentiment.
I don't know if you've noticed it.. But on those three cards I used the same pattern paper. I used that paper to the max (and still have scraps for a couple more cards... hmm, maybe I'll work on something today.. ).
The other thing I used is the scallop border punch (again, it's Ronit's border punch). I'm awful at punching with it, but I'll get it eventually.

And, last but not least:

Again, I used the "Thinking of You" sentiment that I cut with Ronit's Cricut machine.
For the background I stamped a lot of little heart in red and pink ink on a grey cardstock. I love that color combo.

Well, that's it for today.
I hope you liked it. Have a great day!

P.S.
I want to thank Ronit from the bottom of my heart - You're a true friend! And your stamps aren't so bad either... hehe...

We've Got An Assignment!

So, over the weekend my good friend Keren asked Ronit & I if one of us could make her a gift card holder. She needed it for a good friend of hers.
Anyway, Ronit & I immediately decided to conduct a little contest in which we will both make gift card holders and Keren will choose the one she likes..

Needless to say, Ronit won. But that only because she lives practically next door to Keren and I don't. And her gift card holder was prettier... details. details.

I set down to make the gift card holder and decided to use Heather Bailey's template for a gift card box. Here's the box:

I also decided to make a video of me making the box, enjoy!

I hope you liked the box. Make sure that hop over to Ronit's blog to see what she made. The blog is in Hebrew but the pictures are universal... lol...

Thanks for visiting me today. Have a great day!

Random Card Wednesday #14

Hello everyone!
It's that time of the week again! RCW #14 is today.

Today I took another link from my links blog and created a card according to it.
It's the criss-cross card from the SCS site (yes, again...).

Here's my take on that tutorial:

And that's the card that goes into the "pocket": All the carstock that I used on this card were simple cardstock from the crafts store (no particular brand). The pattern papers that I used is from the Canon scrapbooking site. It's a great source for cute pattern papers that you can print in the comfort of your own home.

On the inside I used my newly purchased Bella stamp (it's called i-can't-see-a-thing-abella. Love their names!). I outlined the Bella stamp with my Sharpies (they have great bright colors).

That's all for today, thanks for joining me!

Criss-Cross Card Recipe:
Cardstock - bright pink; brown; white (no brand).
Patterned Paper - red and pink butterflies background paper (the Canon scrapbooking site).
Stamps - i-can't-see-a-thing-abella (from StampingBella).
Ink - Black Stazon.
Tools - Corner rounder (from EK), Sharpie's pens.
Accessories - Red Ribbon (no brand).

Calendar Forever or Forever Calendar...?

Which one is it? Either way - I made a couple.

A while back, when I started my small business (and thought I should put my creations on sale), I made a couple of forever calendars.

Here's the first one:

I used the Bind-it-All 6 inch by 6 inch covers and the light blue O rings.
For the inside pages, I used glossy paper and I printed out the designed pages that I made for each month.

Here's the other calendar that I made:

Here I used the same inside pages and covers. I only changed a couple of things - the DP (that I used for altering the covers) and the O rings (this time I used the baby pink ones that I have).
Oh, yeah... and I rounded up the corners in this one (almost forgot about that...).

It was really easy to make them, once I printed out the inside pages. The Bind-it-All makes it so easy to create those little books (or in this case - little calendars).

Thanks for joining me today!

Random Card Wednesday #13

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I hope you're having a great week so far.

As usual (I can't believe it's already becoming a tradition for me), I'll be posting this week's RCW today.

Today I'll show you a cute gate fold card that I made according to this tutorial (again from SCS).

All the stuff I'm creating lately comes straight out of my links blog. I'm just going over all the links one by one and if I have all the materials I need to create what's on the link then I create it. If not (and that's the other fun part) - I'm adding the missing items to my wishlist so I'll know what to buy next.

Anyways, here's today's card:

And that's the inside of the card:

I gave this card yesterday to a couple of our friends who got married last night (Congratulation - Keren & Ofir! We love you!).
When I first created this card I knew I was going to use it for somebody's wedding.

Thanks for joining me today, Have a great wednesday!

XOXO Card Recipe:
Cardstock - bright pink; deep red; white (no brand).
Patterned Paper - XOXO (don't know from which brand - feel free to let me know if you recognize it).
Stamps - Balonabella (from StampingBella).
Ink - Black Stazon.
Tools - Classic Circles & Petite Scalloped Circles (from Nestabilities).
Accessories - Paper flower (from Prima); Fabric pink flower (from the market - thanks Tamar!); Pink pearly gem.

My First Video

So I did it. I bought a tripod.
I've been thinking about it for some time now (remember - I said that there will be some changes around here... That's one of them).

I've decided that every once in a while I'll upload a video clip of me making something.

Now, since English is not my native language I've decided that I'm not going to speak in English in the clips (decided.. yeah, right. I've tried and tried - about 15 times - to record myself in English but I just sound terrible...).

Anyways, for today's video I've created a 3 by 3 box according to this tutorial at SCS and I decided to use this color combo from Kristina's blog.
So - wish me luck (or "brake a leg" or something) - Here's my very first video clip:

I started filming this video on Friday but I had so many problems that I had to finish it on Saturday (The camera's memory card was used up to the max, so I had to upload all the photos and clips to my computer and them continue with the filming; then, the batteries died on me, so I had to recharge them over night; then I made the base totally wrong so I had to make a new one and film it).
I'm thinking about editing all the mistakes and make a bloopers clip. We'll see...

Thanks for joining me, I hope you liked it.
