Share a Card Sunday - I can't believe I didn't post this one

Happy Sunday, you guys!
Just my luck... Over the last week I was sick, right? well, I started to feel a bit better over the weekend but then - my daughter came down with something... total bummer.. the only upside to her illness was that fact that she wanted to cuddle all day in bed with me... poor baby.
Anyways, that whole story was just to tell you that I didn't make any new card over the weekend to show you.
Just as I starter to write an apology post about delaying the SCS (Share a Card Sunday) post - I found a picture of a card the I made a couple of months ago and haven't shared it yet.
Have a look:

I love this card for so many reasons:

  1. Awesome color combination - one of my favorites. Green and Pink always go together (in my humble opinion).
  2. No sentiment = no limits. It can be a "happy birthday" card or a "thinking of you card" or any other theme for that matter. Super usable.
  3. BUTTONS.. I love them. Those buttons are truly vintage buttons and by "vintage" I mean "old". I got them from my mom a few years ago and she had them for at least 10 years now. There absolutely awesome!
  4. Rounded corners.. If I could I would have round the corners of my desk, my computer screen, my windows at home.. everything square should have rounded corners. But that's just me :)
That's it for now. Thanks for visiting!

Share a Card Sunday - Survival Kit

Happy Sunday!
It's almost the end of Sunday here is Israel but still Sunday so it counts...
I caught some kind of flu that goes around (my kid passed it on to me) but I still wanted to share with you the card that I made in the last week.
So, I'm sorry for this post being short, I just gotta go to sleep again (I feel awful).
I made a box filled with cards for various occasions around the year.
Just thought that it will be a great idea to give it to a man that keeps (like many of the men I know) forgetting birthdays, anniversaries, valentines and what not.
Have a look:

It turned out pretty cool...
Asked my hubby it (what does he think of the idea and if he would buy it) and he said that he would never dream of forgetting an event related to me so it's not necessary for him... haha... *pain in ribs* *pain everywhere*...
OK, before I'll have a complete shut down - I'm going to sleep.
Thanks for looking!
Come again soon,

Share a Card Sunday - Cool Dude Collection set

Happy Sunday everyone!
This time for the Share A Card Sunday post, I want to share a set that I made.
While reorganizing my craft room (table and bookshelves is more accurate), I found a manly \ boyish pattern paper that I though would be great for making a set.
I also found a blue solid paper that matches it, so I could make some envelopes too...
NOTE TO SELF: reorganize the craft room more often. I find loads of stuff while reorganizing :)

All it took was a little time, my paper trimmer, my corner rounder and some adhesive and there you go - a set of 7 matching greeting cards:

They all measure 3" by 3" and the envelopes are 3.25" by 3.25".
In some of the pictures you can see that I added a square white piece of paper to add a personal note.
Since it's a double sided pattern paper - I had to do that. The pattern on the inside of the card frames the writing space just perfectly.

This set is up for sale at my Etsy shop. Feel free to have a look around :)

Share a card Sunday is here!

Ready to see my very first "Share a Card Sunday"?
I'm reading a lot of articles about setting goals for a business, about creating a solid crowd of followers, maintaining the interest of the crowd etc.
That's what got me thinking about this "Share a Card Sunday". Since Saturday is our day off, and my DD usually have a long nap that day, it's a great time for me to sit down and make some cards and enjoy my free time of the weekend.
Anyways, Here's what I made today:

It's a long card.. it's a 3.75" by 6".. It's probably the widest card I've ever made.
That's what happens when you find your paper trimmer too late :)
I tried to follow this color combination from a great blog that I found (thanks to Kristina).
I got a little sidetracked with the colors... but it's only because I don't have a large variety of papers and embellishments. *wink*wink* hubby? are you getting the clue? no?

Thanks for looking you guys! I truly appreciate it.

Circle Flip Up Book

Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another creation to share with you all.
This time - it's maybe too big for my mini studio...
It's an 8" by 8" circle flip up book.
I got the instruction from splitcoaststampers (here) and it looked like something I just had to try.
I didn't noticed how time went by when I did it. When I finished it I realized that it took me 4 hours (!!!!) to make it.
So I don't know when I'll be doing this one again.
I'm not sure that I want to find myself awake at 1 am, thinking that my iphone must be showing the wrong time :)
Man... do I know how to complain... I had fun making it and that's that.

Here are the results:

So, what do you think? Was it worth my (long) while?

Another Christmas set

And this time - Keychains!

I thought about creating a small item that would make an excellent little gift to give around the holidays.
The idea that immediately came to my mind is keychains. Just because I gave a bunch of them out when I left my previous job and it was a huge success.
"finally, a gift that I can use", was the general opinion among the receivers :)
Anyways, I created a bunch of keychains (11 to be exact) with the Christmas theme in mind.
Have a look:

And now, I'm putting it all up for sale at my Etsy shop.

It was so fun to make them. I got to use my Silhouette SD machine, which is always awesome.
Not to mention the paint that has been lying here for ages just waiting for me to use it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Words Mini Albums

So.. The crafting continues..
Well, actually, today I'm going to share with you a new idea that I have in mind.
I'm going to start making a series of word mini album..
What does it mean?
Well, it means that I'm going to take meaningful words and turn them into mini albums (each letter in each word will become a page in the mini album).
For example: BABY, MOM, DAD, FAMILY, LOVE and the list goes on and on and on...
Anyways, I'm proud to present the first mini album from the WORDS Mini Album Series: BABY.

I know.. no baby photos in the album.. It's only because it's already up for sell on my etsy shop.
Hopefully, I'll continue making some more mini albums in this series.
That's it for now - don't be shy. Tell me what you think. Are there any other words you'd like to see as a mini album?
