Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another creation to share with you all.
This time - it's maybe too big for my mini studio...
It's an 8" by 8" circle flip up book.
I got the instruction from splitcoaststampers (here) and it looked like something I just had to try.
I didn't noticed how time went by when I did it. When I finished it I realized that it took me 4 hours (!!!!) to make it.
So I don't know when I'll be doing this one again.
I'm not sure that I want to find myself awake at 1 am, thinking that my iphone must be showing the wrong time :)
Man... do I know how to complain... I had fun making it and that's that.
Here are the results:

I used Ronit's Cricut to cut out those vanilla letters. I cut them out at about 3 inches high..jpg)
For the letters I used some vanilla cardstock that I cut with Ronit's Cricut (awesome machine - I can stare at it for hours while it's working).
On top of the letters I added some light green gems to add some sparkle to the page.

and I added the doodling at the top corner all by myself... I'm so proud!
I liked it so much that I took an additional picture just for the doodling.
This is the first one. As you can see, it's a super simple hibrid page. The only thing I've done is turn the whole picture into Black&White and left my rose in vivid colors.
The seconde page is actully a transparency paper with the same photo printed on it. I made sure that the photo on the transparency paprt wouldn't align perfectly according to the first page that you saw earlier. That way the image gets that "ghostly" look to it, don't you think? with all the doubling of th shodows and stuff? I have to say that the picture is a bit dark due to bad lighting that day so the page looks a bit gloomy but it's actually not that dark.. I'll try to post a better picture as soon as I'll manage to take one.
When you turn the page you can still see the photo and it even has the texture of the page bafore it. Well, I love it.
It's another hibrid page... I turned the background to sepia and left our figures in vivid color.
It took me so long because I didn't have my Nestabilities yet so I had to cut the little frame with a cutting knife and use a ruller to measure the frame... In short, a LONG time.
It's another hybrid page (digitally enhanced photo on a handmade page).
