I promised and now - it's here!

I finally finished my digital album for our USA trip last June.

It was the most wonderful time we ever had and I have to say that it made our relationship much stonger.

I completely recomand going on a long trip to a far away destination. Just to get away from the day-to-day life and do something different. I learned a lot about myself and our relationship.

Anyway,

Like I did with the London digital album, I used Scrapblog again. Can't get enough of it.

Wow.. I can't believe how long it's been...

There are so many new things going on in my life.. Not to mention all the experiences I've been through in the last 6 months or so since I've updated my blog.

let's see, what did we do in the last 6 months?

1. My husband and I went on a short trip to London, UK. This was during June and I still didn't finish the scrapbook for it.


2. A few months later we went on a 2 weeks trip to the US. Well, to the east side... I'm working on a digital scrapbook for it.


3. And the last and most important and wonderful thing - We're pregnant!!!

So, you can already guess that I have tons of things to share.

I'll just go by chronological order - First up: LONDON!!!

As usual, it takes me forever to make a scrapbook, but I'm in a very progressive stage :) - I need to take some pictures of it.

But... the good news are that my husband found a cute web site by accident called Scrapblog.

It's a site that allows you to create, edit and share a digital scrapbook. They have a huge amount of backgrounds, stickers, frames, ribbons and what not.

I think I'm gonna start sharing pregnancy stuff in addition to the scrapbooking stuff here. Just another outlet for me... well, it's my first pregnancy. I hope you'll find it interesting.

"Before the Wedding" Digital Album - Part 2

So, after sharing the first part of my "before the wedding" digital album - today I'll show you the second part:

I used the same digital kits that I used on the first part of the album from the shabby princess (there's a link in the sidebar).

That last picutre is soo funny. A kid drove buy with his motorcycle and the photographer asked him to loan us the motorcycle for the picture... Though the motorcycle just stood there I was still too scared to get on it.

I had so much fun that day, I can't get enough of those sweet sweet memories... Umm... Should I be worried that I have such great memories and pictures only from before the wedding? hehe...
OK, OK. I have great memories from after the wedding. Not a lot of pictures. But I do have great memories... I think.

I can't believe I didn't share this with you...

I went through my creations folder and I came across a mini (or short) digital album that I made out of our "before the wedding" picutres.

I checked and it seems that I didn't show you the album, and I just can't believe it.

Anyways, sorry about that, here's the album:

Well, that's the first part of the album. I quite like it.

I used a bunch of digital kits that I found over the web (the ones I used in this album is from the shabby princess). If you like digital scrapbooking that's the site to visit. I just love their style! and I already added them to my favorites in my sidebar.

These pictures were taken about a week before the wedding (which means almost two years ago... phew... I can't believe it's been two years already...). We had a lot of fun that day. The photographer was so funny. We both were so nervous about everything but he cracked us up so we had fun and the picutres show it.. I think...

Digital Effects Mini Album

I wanted to experiment with a few digital effects that I found over the web so I decided to make a mini album with some of the new effects that downloaded...
And there are no better photos to do that with than my friends Ron & Ronit's wedding photos.

So I made a mini album to show off my newly downloaded digital effects:
The first picture is the first page in the mini album.I've used a black&white effect here and printed it on a transparency paper. Then, I added some glitter to Ronit's dress and bracelet for that extra sparkle.

The second picture is a page in which I've use an effect called "the big picture".This effect divides the photo into small pieces and distort the pieces a bit.. Love this effect!
I couldn't resist adding a prima flower and a matching gem to the corner there...

The next picture is the puzzle effect:You can choose the amount of puzzle pieces you need and the digital effect creates the puzzle for you.
note to self: don't use a sheet of rice paper in the bind-it-all when it's not in between to pieces of cardstock...

The last (but not least) picture is the last page of the mini-album.

I used an effect called "cracked wall" ( you can see why it has that name).
I LOVE this photo!!!

These are just a few samples of the digital effects mini-album.

Let's start...

Now that I've introduced myself I can start sharing my creations with you.I'll start by giving you a direct link to my first web album in Picasa.This album contains all the pages I've maid of my digital wedding album.I got the idea of making a digital wedding album when we got the printed digital album from our photographer.
When I saw the printed digital album we got, I decided to try and learn how to create digital albums.
After a few weeks, the digital album was complete!
I was so proud of myself since the reactions I got for most of the pages were positive.
All the pictures in this web album are blurred. We decided to publish the pictures only after blurring them in order to keep our privacy (at least to try and keep our privacy).
I'll be happy to get your opinions on this album.
