Words Mini Albums

So.. The crafting continues..
Well, actually, today I'm going to share with you a new idea that I have in mind.
I'm going to start making a series of word mini album..
What does it mean?
Well, it means that I'm going to take meaningful words and turn them into mini albums (each letter in each word will become a page in the mini album).
For example: BABY, MOM, DAD, FAMILY, LOVE and the list goes on and on and on...
Anyways, I'm proud to present the first mini album from the WORDS Mini Album Series: BABY.

I know.. no baby photos in the album.. It's only because it's already up for sell on my etsy shop.
Hopefully, I'll continue making some more mini albums in this series.
That's it for now - don't be shy. Tell me what you think. Are there any other words you'd like to see as a mini album?

The crafting gods have been kind

Hi everybody! What's up?
It's been a very productive weekend for me..I decided (once again) to give my etsy shop a boost so I sat down and made some things... It's so much fun to create again!
Look at what I did:
First I created a couple of mini albums.
In the first one I'm going to put pictures of Ori, my beautiful daughter (I'm sorry to say that I don't have any picture of this one - it has no photos of her in it yet).
The second one is already up for sell on Etsy.

After those two I decided to make some mini notebooks (you can see that I was in a "mini" kind of mood). I thought that I'd make a couple of them. I ended up making 4. It was fun. I got to use my bind it all and my paper trimmer. So cool!

I love time -  apparently I need it to complete old tasks... who knew?
That's it for now. Can't wait for my next creative session :)

Calendar Forever or Forever Calendar...?

Which one is it? Either way - I made a couple.

A while back, when I started my small business (and thought I should put my creations on sale), I made a couple of forever calendars.

Here's the first one:

I used the Bind-it-All 6 inch by 6 inch covers and the light blue O rings.
For the inside pages, I used glossy paper and I printed out the designed pages that I made for each month.

Here's the other calendar that I made:

Here I used the same inside pages and covers. I only changed a couple of things - the DP (that I used for altering the covers) and the O rings (this time I used the baby pink ones that I have).
Oh, yeah... and I rounded up the corners in this one (almost forgot about that...).

It was really easy to make them, once I printed out the inside pages. The Bind-it-All makes it so easy to create those little books (or in this case - little calendars).

Thanks for joining me today!

Digital Effects Mini Album

I wanted to experiment with a few digital effects that I found over the web so I decided to make a mini album with some of the new effects that downloaded...
And there are no better photos to do that with than my friends Ron & Ronit's wedding photos.

So I made a mini album to show off my newly downloaded digital effects:
The first picture is the first page in the mini album.I've used a black&white effect here and printed it on a transparency paper. Then, I added some glitter to Ronit's dress and bracelet for that extra sparkle.

The second picture is a page in which I've use an effect called "the big picture".This effect divides the photo into small pieces and distort the pieces a bit.. Love this effect!
I couldn't resist adding a prima flower and a matching gem to the corner there...

The next picture is the puzzle effect:You can choose the amount of puzzle pieces you need and the digital effect creates the puzzle for you.
note to self: don't use a sheet of rice paper in the bind-it-all when it's not in between to pieces of cardstock...

The last (but not least) picture is the last page of the mini-album.

I used an effect called "cracked wall" ( you can see why it has that name).
I LOVE this photo!!!

These are just a few samples of the digital effects mini-album.
I hope you like it so far.

Thanks for looking!

First Mini Album Template

This is actually the only thing I got around to do this weekend. I decided to work with my Bind-it-All so I created a mini album to show people as template of a mini album when they’ll want to buy one.
All the pages have only embellishments. No pictures. Have a look.

The first picture is the first page. I used a piece of transperancy paper to create a clear tag of the baby's details:
All the other pictures show the actual mini pages I've created just to show what the page would look like:It turned out quite cute. Don’t you think?

My First Sale

Look at that! I've made my first sale! I just can't believe it.

I decided a while back to start and sell my creations. Why not? All the materials I use cost a lo-o-o-o-t of money. Why shouldn't I make some money back out of it? At least to cover my costs.

So, one day I went to work and took the mini album that I made for my sister-in-law's birthday just so I can show off. And, who knew? It worked.
One of my coworkers decided to to order 2 mini albums for her sister and for her mom for the birth of her new nephews.

Here are a few snapshots of the mini albums I created for her:

I finally used my Bind-it-All like I should and it turned out so cute.
The mini albums are about 3.5 by 3 inches so it fits great even in small bags... If you have such cute kids - why not bragging???

I really hope you all like it!
