V-stitch crochet hat

Hi all,
So this week I was ask by Noy (my cousin's dd) to crochet a hat for her.
She saw the crochet hat that I made for my dd and she loved it and wanted one of her own.
So, here she is modeling the hat for you all:

The hat has a pink flower with light green leaves. The flower and the leaves can come of. It's cool.
Ain't she beautiful? The hat is cute too :)

If It's Raining And You're Sick - Crochet a Hat

Well, it might not work with the melody of the children song but it happened...

I got a bit of a cold and couldn't do a lot without getting to tired to move so I did a few things around the house but mainly - I did crochet.

Now that Elton the sheep is finally done, I decided to do a much simpler & quicker crochet project.

This is the hat that I made today:

By the way (1) - I had no pattern for this hat. All from the top of my hat. It's a first and I'm quite happy with the result.
By the way (2) - All the pictures I posted in the last few days were taken with my brand new iPhone. I finally got one. I've been waiting for it for such a long time. Don't try to wonder why... I just did.

Little Wooden Cubes

So, while reorganizing my working space I discovered a lot of things that I haven't used in a while.
The first thing that I decided to put into good use is these little wooden cubes that I had.

I thought it would be cute if I could have them spell out "IFATART". So I did :)

And now, I put them on top of my big new screen (thanks honey, I love you!) - I think it's cute..

First Big Crochet Project

Hi!

In late January I bought a crochet pattern of Elton the sheep from DeliciousCrochet on Etsy.

It took me "only" like a month and a half to finish this project but I did it!

Here's the result:








I hope you like it 'cause I do!
Now the only question is whether to let my 10 month old play with it or not. I started crocheting this doll for her but after putting all that effort in to it... And she'll just put it in her mouth?
We'll see...

Starting a digital line

Hi all,

After toying around with the thought in my head, I'm proud to say that I'm starting a digital line for designing wedding stationary, baby birth announcement, wall art and what not...

So everything I create goes straight for sale on my Etsy shop but I thought that I should share it here as well.

I promised and now - it's here!

I finally finished my digital album for our USA trip last June.

It was the most wonderful time we ever had and I have to say that it made our relationship much stonger.

I completely recomand going on a long trip to a far away destination. Just to get away from the day-to-day life and do something different. I learned a lot about myself and our relationship.

Anyway,

Like I did with the London digital album, I used Scrapblog again. Can't get enough of it.

Pregnancy Stuff - Update

OK, so I told you about my idea of sharing pregnancy stuff with you guys.

I thought some more about it and I came to realize that not all the pregnancy stuff that I'll want to publish will be interesting for my English blog readers.

What I wanted to post here were information posts containing tips, shopping lists, recommendations, advices etc... anyway, I'll try and update my English blog whenever there's a pregnancy post that I think will be relevant to you English readers.

If anyone thinks they're interested in this time of information in English - let me know and if there will be enough readers interested - I'll update here as well..

By the way, all the scrapbooking posts will continue as usual (here and in my Hebrew blog).

Wow.. I can't believe how long it's been...

There are so many new things going on in my life.. Not to mention all the experiences I've been through in the last 6 months or so since I've updated my blog.

let's see, what did we do in the last 6 months?

1. My husband and I went on a short trip to London, UK. This was during June and I still didn't finish the scrapbook for it.


2. A few months later we went on a 2 weeks trip to the US. Well, to the east side... I'm working on a digital scrapbook for it.


3. And the last and most important and wonderful thing - We're pregnant!!!

So, you can already guess that I have tons of things to share.

I'll just go by chronological order - First up: LONDON!!!

As usual, it takes me forever to make a scrapbook, but I'm in a very progressive stage :) - I need to take some pictures of it.

But... the good news are that my husband found a cute web site by accident called Scrapblog.

It's a site that allows you to create, edit and share a digital scrapbook. They have a huge amount of backgrounds, stickers, frames, ribbons and what not.

A Short Break

Hi everyone!
First of all - Happy Passover for those of you who celebrate it.
Secondly - I'm taking a short break (of a few weeks) from blogging due to a big trip we're planing to do in the US on June.
The trip's just taking up a lot of my time so I don't have enough time to put in the blog.
