Share a card Sunday is here!

Ready to see my very first "Share a Card Sunday"?
I'm reading a lot of articles about setting goals for a business, about creating a solid crowd of followers, maintaining the interest of the crowd etc.
That's what got me thinking about this "Share a Card Sunday". Since Saturday is our day off, and my DD usually have a long nap that day, it's a great time for me to sit down and make some cards and enjoy my free time of the weekend.
Anyways, Here's what I made today:

It's a long card.. it's a 3.75" by 6".. It's probably the widest card I've ever made.
That's what happens when you find your paper trimmer too late :)
I tried to follow this color combination from a great blog that I found (thanks to Kristina).
I got a little sidetracked with the colors... but it's only because I don't have a large variety of papers and embellishments. *wink*wink* hubby? are you getting the clue? no?

Thanks for looking you guys! I truly appreciate it.

Tag, you're it!

not really... but still.. :)
I can't really remember when was the last time that I created a tag. Anyways, after a long week of hard work I needed something short, simple, cute...
So I decided to put my Silhouette SD to good use and cut the "happy birthday" tag that I had on there.
and guest what happened? I think that my silhouette blade is broken... It did the work just fine but some small little black pieces fell off, and that's never a good sign.. right? It's just my luck :(

Well, here's how it turned out:

I'm planning on using this tag for my dad's birthday next month. I hope he'll like it.

Free handmade card, sounds good?

It's always nice to get a greeting card for your birthday, right? ...right...
Well, to celebrate my new facebook page, I'm offering this:
A handmade birthday card, for your birthday, made especially for you.
So what do I need to do? Here's the info:
1. Go & Like my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/IfatArt
2. Send me an email (to ifat.art@gmail.com) with your birthday card details: Facebook Name, Real Name (for the card) & shipping address and off course - birth date. You can also include other details that you think might interest me (i.e. colors you like, themes, hobbies, etc...).

That's it! The first 25 (yes, 25!) people that will do those two simple steps will get their very own handmade birthday card from me :)

I have a bunch of milestones I want to reach this year. Getting 50 people to like my facebook fan page is one of them. Will you help?

Circle Flip Up Book

Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another creation to share with you all.
This time - it's maybe too big for my mini studio...
It's an 8" by 8" circle flip up book.
I got the instruction from splitcoaststampers (here) and it looked like something I just had to try.
I didn't noticed how time went by when I did it. When I finished it I realized that it took me 4 hours (!!!!) to make it.
So I don't know when I'll be doing this one again.
I'm not sure that I want to find myself awake at 1 am, thinking that my iphone must be showing the wrong time :)
Man... do I know how to complain... I had fun making it and that's that.

Here are the results:

So, what do you think? Was it worth my (long) while?

Thanks for visiting!

Notebookapalooza....?!

I have no idea what went over me that last few days but I was all about the notebooks and my Silhouette SD machine...
I set down and after a few hours I stopped working to look at my desk and what did I see?
LOADS of notebooks. done. each one in its own casing...
So, I'm not sure what happened there - I kind of black out for a couple of hours... :)
But, there you have it, my very own LOADS of notebooks collection.
Each one of the mini notebooks was cut with my Silhouette machine - I'm just now (after having it for a few years now) starting to really fall in love with it.

This one is CHRISTMAS TREE mini notebook.
I used my Silhouette to cut the tree and a golden star sticker that is placed on the top of the tree.

This is my NOTEBOOK mini notebook :)
I thought it would be cute maybe to add the owner's (of the notebook) name in writing... Since I'm not completely sure about it, I didn't do it yet.

This is my MY NOTE BOOK mini notebook... (haha.. that name turned out funny...)
It's got a kind of a 70's vibe, right?

This is my new mini notebook! It's not for sale.. :)
I like it so I'm keeping it... besides, what are the odds that there's an additional Ifat out there that spells my name like I do?
You see, usually, the name is spelled "Yifat" but I got used to misspelling it and stayed with it.. feel free to call me I-fat like microsoft sam does :) {I appologize for the geeky joke}

This my GOOD OR BAD mini notebook.
It's another Christmasy themed mini notebook like the CHRISTMAS TREE one..
It's funny how christmas oriented I am in the last couple of weeks.. And I don't even celebrate Christmas...

That's it for now, I hope you enjoyed my new creations.

Another Christmas set

And this time - Keychains!

I thought about creating a small item that would make an excellent little gift to give around the holidays.
The idea that immediately came to my mind is keychains. Just because I gave a bunch of them out when I left my previous job and it was a huge success.
"finally, a gift that I can use", was the general opinion among the receivers :)
Anyways, I created a bunch of keychains (11 to be exact) with the Christmas theme in mind.
Have a look:

And now, I'm putting it all up for sale at my Etsy shop.

It was so fun to make them. I got to use my Silhouette SD machine, which is always awesome.
Not to mention the paint that has been lying here for ages just waiting for me to use it.

Christmas set

Hey hey everyone!
You already know that I have a shop on Etsy, right?
Well, this week we started a holiday boot camp to boost up our shops.
It's pretty cool... We have to-do lists each week and we get lots of help with getting ready and plan ahead for the upcoming holidays.
Anyways, the first thing on my to-do list is to share a promise with you all.
Well, I promise to dedicate time to making new holiday themed items and list them on my shop.
I also promise to give the best customer service I can.

Having said that, I want to share with you all my new Christmas item which is actually a set of greeting cards.
This set contains six greeting cards.
Each greeting card measures at 3" by 3" and comes with its own cardstock envelope.

I haven't listed this set yet on Etsy, but I'll do that soon enough - I'll update you once I do.

They turned out pretty sweet, didn't they?
Hope you liked it.

Oh, that reminds me! I added another feature to the blog.
You can now find a "tweet" button on the right. Just in case you stop by my blog and want to tweet about it :)

Thanks for stopping by!
